‘Made of Hands’ is not a brand; it is a symbol of warmth, love, and care. It is about caring for our loved ones, giving them the snuggle, and the warmth that they deserve. The journey began with a pair of socks that my mother passed on to me to protect my feet from the chilly winters. This beautiful pair of orange socks were knitted by my grandmother, who first gifted these to my mother. I still remember the first time I put these on. The socks were so comfortable that I felt the warmth of my grandmother’s hands and the love that she put in. There is something special about hand-knitted clothes. Unlike expensive, over the top brands, these hand-knitted clothes bring in a sense of warmth; which is priceless. That was when I came with the idea of spreading that comfort to people across the country through products that are made of hands, and are created with utmost love and care. 

Since grandmothers are knitting experts, we reached out to my friend’s lovely grandmother to understand the fundamentals of yarn and knitting. With her assistance, we also had the chance to connect with women who were willing to embark on this journey without having to leave their homes and families behind. That was how Made of Hands came into being.
